No angel by Penny Vincenzi
Book Number:RC 57360
5 sound cassettes
Series: Lytton family saga

Heedless of the constraints on women at the turn of the century, Celia
schemes to have both a family and a job at her husband’s London publishing
firm. Her successes mount while she deals with World War I, women’s
suffrage, and a new love. Some descriptions of sex and some strong language.
2000.
This is the first of Vincenzi's books for me and hopefully not the last. No
Angel is the only one NLS has on cassette, I do hope they finish out the
series. I love detail and this book was loaded with it. From the
publishing world to the slums of London, to the aristocracy that reside in
the countryside of England.. A tale of family love, betrayal, heartbreak
and joy. I really enjoyed this one. I give it a 5 out of 5. I've included
her web site below.
Happy reading,
Carla/TexasRed
